About Compre
What is Compre?
Compre is procurement intelligence for medicine availability. Pharmacies order from their wholesalers in the Compre app, or start the way they already work, with a WhatsApp message, a photo, a voice note or a list. Compre turns that activity into structured, confirmed orders and gives wholesalers the demand intelligence they need to stock and serve better.
Who is Compre for?
Community pharmacies and the pharmaceutical wholesalers and distributors that supply them. Pharmacies use Compre to order; wholesalers use it to run those orders, their customers, prices and catalogue, and to see what their customers need.
Is there a Compre app?
Yes. The Compre app is on Google Play and the App Store, and it is where a pharmacy’s procurement lives: each wholesaler’s Shop, catalogue and prices, shopping lists and order templates, order history and status, credit, branches and team. Wholesalers also have a web dashboard at distributor.getcompre.com.
Can I find new wholesalers on Compre?
Compre is not a directory and does not list wholesalers against each other. You order from the wholesalers you are connected to: scan your wholesaler’s Store QR, accept an invitation from them, or invite them from the app.
Does Compre sell medicines?
No. Your wholesaler sells and delivers, at their prices. Compre is the system the order runs through, from the pharmacy’s list to the wholesaler’s dashboard.
Ordering
How does Compre use AI when I order?
When you send a list as text, a photo, a voice note or a file, Compre reads it and matches each line to the products in your wholesaler’s catalogue, then shows you a basket to review. Nothing is ordered until you confirm.
What happens if Compre is not sure which product I mean?
It asks. When a name could mean more than one product, Compre shows the options and asks which you meant, including a “Neither of these” choice. It never guesses.
Can I start an order on WhatsApp and finish it in the app?
Orders you start on WhatsApp go into the same Compre account as the app, so you can follow them, see changes and reorder in the app.
Who sets the prices I see?
Your wholesaler. Each wholesaler’s Shop shows that wholesaler’s prices, including any pricing they have set for your pharmacy.
For wholesalers and distributors
Does Compre list my business next to other wholesalers?
No. Pharmacies order from you in your own Shop, reached through your Store QR or your invitations, and you approve every new customer. Your customers stay your customers.
What does the procurement intelligence show me?
Fast movers, demand by area, and the products your customers asked for but could not get, built from the orders, searches and requests that run through Compre.
Which systems does Compre connect to?
You can upload your price list or stock file in the format you already have, or connect Odoo, QuickBooks (Online or Desktop), or other systems through the Compre partner API.
Credit and payment
Does Compre lend money to pharmacies?
No. Credit on Compre is offered by your wholesaler, on terms they set. Compre records balances and sends reminders; it does not lend.
Does Compre hold my money?
No. Payment is between the pharmacy and the wholesaler. Compre can carry the wholesaler’s payment request and the pharmacy’s receipt, but it does not hold or move money.
